must poetry be made with words?

the idea came
and it said
“a poem…without…words.  do it.”

would anyone care to join me in this experiment?

I am taking in the aroma of a Sunday afternoon stew that I have prepared… it's almost ready. Add a little Merlot, some Renee Fleming(Opera)music…That is poetry without words.

Have you ever see the documentary "Into Great Silence"? It's a film about Carthusian monks in the French Alps. No words are spoken throughout, and the rhythm of their daily life is a sort visual poetry to watch. Your photo made me think of that… very beautiful Nance.
