Oh my word, that is one amazing view! What a terrific capture – you can just see forever to the very edge of the earth. Lovely. Wonderful photo, and perfect for Carmi's challenge.
Great photo, I was wondering about the circles myself. I think the dark blue at the top is caused by the window treatment on airplanes. Some sort of polarizing effect. Just my thoughts.
I'm still amazed we can get up off the ground as we do and travel through clouds. When you can get shots like this, you tend to forget any of the bad stuff about the flying experience.
maxthanks. yeah, i really like the round crop circles that are round because of the type of irrigation sprayers that move in a circular pattern. it reminds me of a patchwork quilt.

Awesome shot! We don't have the round ones here.

Amazing shot – I love a good aerial view. Deep blue sky and you can see all the man made shapes below. :)
carmi…i don't know how high. i do like to take shots when i take flights. it can look so clear, and like you say, the blue can be so… blue.
What an amazing shot! The sky is such a deep blue that it almost looks painted. How high up were you when it was shot?
