Love this collage. The muted with touches of vibrancy in the top left and top right are my favorite.
“a silent gentle dance of summer” —I can feel this and it conjures up a picture in my mind of good summer memories—you have a gift of using words so that they SHOW not TELL–it’s a difficult concept to get across to my students. We do a personification of emotions where they preferably don’t state the emotion or at least wait to the end. We should be able to identify it from what we see, hear, and feel in the words.
I end up getting some outstanding, skin-tingling work, but it’s difficult getting them to loosen up and let the words flow. You got that nailed, friend!:>)
The ability to look up is a blessing indeed

a perfect quilt :-)
Surely angels pass through there ….
I reach through
panes of glory
to reach the majesty
and my hands
touch clouds
This looks like a spectacular patchwork quilt. So beautiful Nance – and i do like that little poem.
Lovely quilt.
I absolutely love this! The photo collage and the collage of words.
