Splendid photo. I loved that book when I enjoyed holding it in my hands.
i know what you mean. i grew up in southern Illinois.
The problem is that I don’t live near water. I don’t know what people do on it.

i kind of like it the first way too…a bit of the Irish.

I peer into my autumn days

I find my life like layered streaks
across a waning sun.
The quote reminds me of Michael Card’s book, Scribbling in the Sand. Ever read it? I just found it for a buck and a half on the used book shelf. Really, really good.

Wow! I am mesmerized! I went with mostly photos for Friday like you talked of doing just one. I find that “I gotta write SOMETHING!” But I kept it short.
