relating

my words or actions toward someone are words or actions to Jesus, to God.  this thought came to me clearly today while i was driving to the market to buy some vegetables. and i think that it is time for me to seriously consider this thought of words and actions.  there is “something that goes on” in “relating” with other people that i don’t know about, but, i have a glimmer of an idea of what it is.

i don’t remember having been to see superstar. as you describe the red streaks of light, i can see it.

I agree with you. We went to see the Jesus Christ Superstar a week or two ago and they used red lights and horizontal blinds to create the lines of blood as Jesus was lashed. It was extremely effective. Your image reminds me of that scene.

that is where the idea took me. to all kinds of relationships as well as the encounters that i have with strangers and since i was on my way to the store…i also thought of all the people that i encounter there as well. i’m glad you shared your thoughts.

Your image reminds me of Christ’s blood shed for me and all relationships in which I am involved, including those in which I have most the most of myself invested and those encounters that I have with strangers.

Yes, it is truly mysterious, this coming together of energy and spirit and souls, melding into an unraveling of influence and destination and choice. PS, I love the color in this image. It moves me.
