the light was
shining through clear blue like the flight of a silent arrow
kissing the hills to wake and rise for the day
glowing with warmth on smooth orange walls
turning a pool of ripples into shimmering diamonds
embracing the outstretched arms of the saguaro
catching it’s breath on long pink clouds
playing with the wind into the purple night
coming to rest on a sky-full of lonely stars
.
MMMMMMmmmmmmmm. This is nice. The light catching its breath; playing with the wind; coming to rest… Oh, this is nice.
Very visual and peaceful.
This is really beautiful Nance. I had the same thought as A Simple Country Girl as I was reading it. You really should have a poetry book.
Miss Nance, please put these poems and images into a book. We need it.Blessings.

i could see that the light of God's powercan fill me…just like the light i was seeing, and can shine zooming powerfully silently out of me, just like the light i was seeing, and it can do wonderful things, just like the light i was seeing.
lene girl…you are so right.
The joy calls us to be an active participant, not just an observer.Right?(I'm pretending this poem was written just for me–and Luci).Blessings.
