Love Muir. He was a fascinating man – so many fascinating nature types around that time period. Good inspiration.
I remember how very long ago coming upon an image of Muir among a stand of redwood. I was so taken with a visit to Muir Woods.Lovely image today.
Truly fascinating:the article. I may incorporate Muir into our study of Emerson when we get to him.One of the images engraved on my mind and heart are those of Muir Woods many years ago. How you can look at such magnificance and not believe in God is beyond me!Great post, Nancy—thank you for the inspiration.(I thought you might like my cow line up! One day on the way home from school, they were very close to the road and taking an interest in every passing car. So my car stopped and I took some photos.)
