childhood is brief and so much a part of us, that time of being. i got it. i know that there are too many with experiences in this time are not at all good…some much worse than others. each person with a different memory, a different story, seen through the eyes and heart of a child. and that child is still in each and every one of us.
I visited the neighborhood where I grew up to try to make an photograph that captured what the place was about. It was difficult, the place had changed somewhat, but mostly we were no longer there.

Oh, that quote can be taken in more than one way!
true.
Funny, last time I did that, I found I wasn’t missing anything but instead was so glad I wasn’t there anymore.
I guess that can actually be good to like where you are now.

Were you able to capture anything about the place that you wanted to, or even something that you liked?
This has me thinking.
Is that a good thing…this thinking thing?
