most people have come down
off of the holiday high, have turned
around to face the new year head on,
and there, sitting quietly in a corner,
are the resolutions,
determined not to leave the party.
there are always a few ornery ones
that just can’t take a hint.

Love this, esp. the last line. I chose a word this year instead of one or more resolutions and that little 'bugger' is stubbornly refusing to leave!:)I caught up on your short list and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I marvel at all that is out there for us to read and view and take in or leave behind. Definitely a positive growth process. Thank you for taking us on a tour each week–I look forward to it.
